Edson Promotes Chuck Gilchrest to National Marine Sales Manager
Gilchrest joined Edson in 2002 and was responsible for sales growth in Edson’s powerboat products and aftermarket divisions. Chuck also managed domestic trade show participation for the company. “Chuck has enthusiastically built market share and developed several creative marketing programs”, says Will Keene, President of Edson. “We are excited to give him this opportunity to grow Edson’s full domestic Marine business.” Prior to working for Edson, Chuck held several sales and communications positions within the Motor Sports industry and worked as a Regional Sales Manager and Competition Products director for Vanson Leathers of Fall River, Massachusetts. Chuck studied at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, PA and spent several summers as a marine policeman, patrolling New Jersey intercoastal waters. An avid boater and sailboat racer, Chuck enjoys time on the water with family and friends and is an active member of the New Bedford Yacht Club. Edson International, celebrating its 148th year, manufactures an extensive line of marine steering systems and accessories, pump out systems and marine pumps for sail and powerboats.

November 1, 2007 - New Bedford, MA USA – Edson International is pleased to announce that Chuck Gilchrest has been promoted to National Sales Manager of their Marine Division. Mr. Gilchrest will oversee Edson’s Sales initiatives in North America of the company’s complete Marine product line including Sailboat, Powerboat and NavCom products. Mr. Gilchrest will also direct Edson’s US and Canadian sales force and representatives.
