The 13” Stainless ComfortGrip™ PowerWheel features a compact size that makes it ideal for flats boats, center consoles and tuna towers. The smaller size of the 13” wheel provides more room at the helm to accommodate controls, navigation aids and fishfinders and is ideal for use with the latest power assist steering systems.
Also available in 14.5” and 16” diameters, the ComfortGrip models feature Edson’s unique elastomer finger grip inserts, providing precise control and the ultimate in comfort. The finger grip inserts, located on the underside of the wheel rim, have a smooth, ergonomic shape, are soft to the touch and provide additional grip for quick maneuvering and control.
Edson’s classic tri-spoke design is cast as a single piece in highly polished, marine-grade 316 Stainless – with no welds or sharp edges. The elegant design will add a “touch of class” to any boat and will look great even after years in the harsh marine environment. And best of all, the new Edson ComfortGrip wheels can easily replace existing steering wheels on virtually any boat — the Edson Comfort Grip PowerWheels have a standard 3/4” bore and come complete with a stainless wheel nut with threaded inserts to fit 5/8”-18 or 1/2”-20 wheel shaft threads.
Edson’s highly popular ProSeries or ComfortGrip™ PowerKnobs® are also available as an option. Bolted directly to the wheel rim, Edson PowerKnobs benefits the boater by aiding in maneuvering in tight quarters. They also allows fast action when backing down on a fish or into a slip.
